THANK YOU DEAR LORD FOR BEING WITH ME 24/7.
LYING THERE ON THE FLOOR, THINKING, AM I DREAMING ?
HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN? YES IT CAN AND DID.
IT WAS OCTOBER 2008.
BIG SHOCK WHEN LEARNED I COULD NOT WALK.
COULD NOT MOVE LEFT HAND OR FOOT.
THERAPISTS GOT ME TO MOVING. THEY SEEMED MEAN.
THEY ARE THERE TO HELP. TRY TO CO-OPERATE.
NOW, 1ST FEBRUARY, LIMITED WALKING WITH 'WALKER'.
DOCTOR'S EXAM SAID I AM ALIVE.
TWO DAUGHTERS LIVING HERE IN CANON CITY OVERCAME OPPOSITION FOR 'CARE CENTER' TO KEEP ME PERMANENTLY, NATURALLY WITH AN EYE ON MY INCOME WHICH WOULD NEED MY SIGNATURE.
DAUGHTERS RESEARCHED THE MEDICINES GIVEN ME, SOME QUESTIONABLE, FOR MENTALLY INCOMPETENT.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND, NOT KNOCKING CARE GIVERS, HOWEVER, WITH THE HELP OF A DOCTOR FRIEND, HAD ME RETURNED HOME FROM THE CARE CENTER WHERE I HAVE LIVED NEAR 7 YEARS WITH ELDERLY FRIENDS IN MY PRIVATE APARTMENT AND USING THIS COMPUTER AND CAMERAS,THRU THE WINDOW, COMMUNICATING WITH FRIENDS BY E-MAIL AND BLOGS.

  18. HAVING READ YOUR COMMENT AGAIN SAM ABOUT DRIVING THE TEAM AND OBSERVING NATURE, I RECALL MY PARENTS TALKING ABOUT THE GREAT DEPRESSION. MOM IS STILL LIVING IN KERRVILLE TEXAS, DAD DIED IN JUNE OF 2004. HE IS BURIED AT SAM HOUSTON CEMETARY AND HAD MILITARY HONORS. HE WAS IN THE NAVY STATIONED IN SAN DIEGO IN CHARGE OF REPAIRING LANDINGCRAFT DURING THE WAR. HE WAS REGECTED AS A PILOT IN THE AIR FORCE BECAUSE HE WAS STUDYING AT THE U. OF ILLINOIS AS AN ENGINEER. THE AIR FORCE SAID THEY HAD PLENTY OF PILOTS BUT NEEDED ENGINEERS. SO HE ENDED UP IN THE NAVY AS AN ENSIGN. DAD BELEIVED THE DEPRESSION COULD HAPPEN AGAIN AND THAT PEOPLE SHOULD SAVE THEIR MONEY. HE HAD A ROUGH LIFE WITH HIS PARENTS DYING WHEN HE WAS YOUNG. ONE WOMAN FEED HIM MUSH ONLY, AND MADE HIM CLEAN HOUSE AFTER WORKING IN THE FIELD FROM BEFORE SUNUP TO SUNSET HE SAID. HE THEN WAS PLACED BY HIS OLDER BROTHER WITH A SCHOOL PRINCIPLE AND HER FAMILY. WE VISITED THEM YEARLY AS I WAS A BOY. HARRIET TOLD GILBERT HE NEEDED TO GO TO COLLEGE, AND HE SAID HE WASN'T GOING TO. DAD DID GO TO COLLEGE AND WORKED HIS WAS THROUGH. HE HAD RADIO'S FOR HOTEL ROOMS THAT HE MADE MONEY FROM WITH THE OWNER AND LEARNED ELECTRONICS. HE ASLO WORKED AS A WAITER FOR RICH COLLEGE BOYS THAT TEASED HIM FOR BEING THEIR WAITER. BOTH HIM AND MY MOM BEING FROM ILLINOIS, MET WHILE IN CALIFORNIA. MARK
